How AeroDue works

Tell us what went wrong. We ask the questions that matter.

Tell us what happened. We ask a few simple questions and show which rights may apply, any potential value we can safely calculate, why the result appears and what we still need to know.

Passenger at the airport checking AeroDue on a phone beside a departures board showing delayed and cancelled flights.

This is what happens from start to finish.

Describe what happened in your own words. Then we ask only for the facts we need to check the situation.

01

Choose what went wrong

Delay, cancellation, denied boarding, baggage, refund, extra expenses or another problem. You can select more than one.

02

Answer what you know

We ask only what is relevant. If you do not know something, say you do not know instead of guessing.

03

See what we found

We show possible rights, potential values when they can be calculated safely, the official basis and anything still missing.

What kind of questions will I be asked?

The exact questions depend on what happened. These are examples of common journey questions and normal passenger answers — they are not legal conclusions.

Question What happened to your journey?
Example answer

My flight reached the final destination more than four hours late.

Question What was the flight number and when did you travel?
Example answer

Flight 1234, 12 August, Lisbon to Paris.

Question How late did you reach the final destination?
Example answer

About 4 hours and 10 minutes late.

Question Do you know why the flight was delayed or cancelled?
Example answer

The airline said it was a technical problem. If I did not know, I would answer: I don't know.

Question Did you pay for meals, a hotel or ground transport?
Example answer

Yes. I paid for dinner and one hotel night, and I kept the receipts.

Question What happened to the baggage?
Example answer

My checked bag did not arrive with me and was delivered two days later.

What if I do not know the answer?

Say that you do not know. Do not guess a delay, reason, airport fact or expense just to continue. Missing information is safer than invented information.

If that information is necessary, we tell you exactly what is missing. We never invent an answer for you.

What will I actually see in the result?

The result is designed to answer the practical questions that matter, without hiding the answer behind complicated legal language.

€

Possible rights

The rights that may apply to your situation, kept separate by type.

↗

Potential value, when it can be calculated safely

We show a value only when there is enough information to calculate it safely. It never means a guaranteed payout.

✓

Why you are seeing this result

We show the rule used and the official sources that support the result.

?

What is still missing

If an important fact or sufficient coverage is still missing, we tell you exactly what is missing instead of pretending certainty.

What happens after the result?

Then the choice is yours. You can use the information and continue on your own. If a real, approved specialist option genuinely fits the situation, AeroDue may show it separately. That provider — not AeroDue — handles any later claim process, documents, airline contact, support or payout.

The result is the same whether you continue on your own or seek specialist help later.

Start with the facts. No commitment first.

You can begin the independent check without creating an account, entering bank details or uploading claim documents.
