Air Canada keeps Dubai flights cancelled until end of March 2027 and plans Tel Aviv return on 30 November
Air Canada has extended the cancellation of its Dubai flights until the end of March 2027, according to the latest update, dated 24 September 2026, on the airline's Middle East travel page. The new date replaces the previous plan to keep the route suspended until mid-January 2027.
In an earlier update on 15 September, the airline said it plans to resume year-round service between Toronto Pearson and Tel Aviv on 30 November 2026. The page shows that both Dubai and Tel Aviv have been suspended since early March 2026, with restart dates pushed back several times during the year.
Under the flexible booking policy set out on the same page, passengers holding Dubai or Tel Aviv tickets could rebook free of charge on Air Canada-operated flights within set travel windows, switch to another Air Canada destination in Europe, the United Kingdom, India or Africa, or cancel for future travel credit; Aeroplan members can take that credit in their AC Wallet. Air Canada says it contacts passengers whose flights are cancelled.
The travel windows in that policy run until 15 December 2026, and the page does not say whether they will be extended to cover the new Dubai date. The Tel Aviv restart is presented as a plan rather than a confirmed operation. Passengers with bookings on either route should check their reservation and confirm the options available with Air Canada.
