Bahrain airport: passengers from nine African countries must complete a health declaration from 2 November
Passengers travelling to Bahrain from nine African countries must complete a Ministry of Health declaration form from 2 November 2026, according to a passenger notice published by Bahrain International Airport. The requirement applies to all passengers travelling from Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia and the Central African Republic.
The notice, headed "Passengers Notice", states that the measure is effective from 2 November 2026 and directs passengers to their airline for further information. The notice does not distinguish between passengers arriving on direct flights and those travelling on connecting itineraries.
The airport's notice gives no further details on the form itself, on how or where it must be completed, or on the reason for the requirement, and it does not say how long the measure will remain in place.
Passengers who will travel to Bahrain from any of the nine countries should ask their airline before departure how to complete the declaration, so that the form is ready before they board.
