KLM adds premium seats on Aruba and Bonaire flights for the winter

KLM announced on 23 October 2026 that it would use Boeing 777 and Boeing 787-10 aircraft on its Aruba and Bonaire routes from 25 October. These aircraft replace the Airbus A330 that had previously served the destinations. The Dutch airline describes the change as a way of offering more seats in its premium cabins during the winter season.

The Airbus A330 had approximately thirty World Business Class seats, according to KLM. The Boeing aircraft provide around thirty-five seats in that cabin and around twenty-four seats in Premium Comfort. The number of seats in other classes remains broadly comparable. The announcement concerns available capacity and does not promise a free upgrade for existing ticket holders.

KLM also announced more flights to Curaçao during parts of the winter season. It says there will be nine weekly services generally, ten in January and February, twelve during the Christmas holidays and eleven during the spring break. These frequencies apply to different weeks and are not a single constant schedule.

Passengers considering the Dutch Caribbean may see more premium-class booking options to Aruba and Bonaire and additional departure choices to Curaçao on some dates. The actual aircraft and cabin layout on a particular service can change, so travellers should check their booking, seat selection and latest airline notifications before departure.
