Prague Airport Terminal 2 liquids: one extra container of up to 2 litres alongside the 100 ml bag
Editorial interpretation
Since 1 October 2025, passengers departing through Terminal 2 at Václav Havel Airport Prague may carry one additional container of liquid over 100 ml, up to a maximum of 2 litres per person, according to the airport. The familiar allowance still applies alongside it: liquids in containers of up to 100 ml, placed in a transparent bag with a maximum content of 1 litre.
At screening points equipped with CT X-ray scanners, passengers do not need to take electronics or liquids out of their hand baggage, which can make the security check quicker. Alcoholic drinks may only be carried in their original retail packaging and with an alcohol content of up to 70%.
The airport’s guidance covers Terminal 2 only. It does not set out the allowance for Terminal 1 or for transfer passengers, so travellers should not assume the same extra container is permitted there.
Rules can also be different at the airport where you change planes or at the one you fly back from. Before packing, check the security rules on the website of each airport on your itinerary, and remember that the Terminal 2 allowance is for a single larger container per person.
