Qatar Airways suspends flights to Abha, Dammam, Riyadh and Taif with no end date
Qatar Airways has temporarily suspended its flights to and from four Saudi Arabian airports, Abha (AHB), Dammam (DMM), Riyadh (RUH) and Taif (TIF), according to a travel alert on the airline's website that was last updated on 12 October 2026.
The alert describes the suspension as temporary but does not give an end date. Jeddah is not mentioned in the notice. Qatar Airways asks passengers to check the status of their flight on its website or in its app, and says affected passengers will be contacted directly.
The measure affects anyone booked on Qatar Airways to or from those four cities. Travellers who need to reach those cities may have to look at other carriers, other airports or later dates.
The alert does not list rebooking, refund or rerouting options, and it gives no indication of when services will resume. Travel alerts of this kind are updated as the situation changes, so the scope and dates shown on the page may move. Travellers with bookings should confirm their flight status before going to the airport and ask the airline or their travel agent which alternatives are open to them.
Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
