SalamAir cancels flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam until 8 November 2026

SalamAir has cancelled its flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia until 8 November 2026, according to the travel updates page on the Omani airline's website, which attributes the decision to regional security developments.

The airline says passengers affected by the cancellations will be contacted directly. The same page lists other measures currently in force: SalamAir's flights to and from Iran remain suspended until further notice because of ongoing airspace closures, regional developments and safety and regulatory requirements, and passengers who booked through a travel agent are asked to contact their agency. Customer care is available around the clock by phone and email.

The cancellations affect anyone booked on SalamAir to or from either Saudi city up to that date, including passengers who planned onward connections there. Passengers with fixed travel dates may need to look at other routings or dates.

The page does not set out specific rebooking or refund options for the Saudi cancellations, and it does not say whether services will resume on 9 November or whether the suspension could be extended. Passengers should wait for the airline's direct contact or check with SalamAir or their travel agent, and confirm their flight status before going to the airport.

Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
