Schiphol expects around 1,380 daily flights next week

Schiphol expects an average of 1,380 daily flights from 19 to 25 October. Its review of 28 September to 11 October records an average of 1,388 flights a day.

The operational notice also schedules Schiphol-Oostbaan maintenance for 19–27 October, with the runway available on 24–25 October. Small business aircraft are expected to use other runways.

This is an airport-wide outlook. It does not confirm a delay, cancellation or runway assignment for an individual flight.

The weekly forecast is an estimate of airport activity, not a list of flights that will be changed. A daily average can conceal significant differences between mornings, afternoons and busier days. It also does not determine which runway each aircraft will use: wind, visibility and operational needs still influence the choice.

Scheduled maintenance on the Schiphol-Oostbaan may require some movements to use other runways while work is under way. That does not mean the entire airport is closed or that delays are confirmed for every passenger. Travellers should consult their flight status and current airline and airport notices. Dates and forecasts may be revised for weather or technical reasons.
