Air France plans seasonal Guadeloupe–Panama service
On 4 August, Air France announced nonstop flights between Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Panama City. The plan calls for two weekly Airbus A320 services from 11 December 2026 to 5 March 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
The airline says schedules are designed to facilitate connections from Fort-de-France and Cayenne and onwards through Copa Airlines’ network.
This is a future seasonal service. A particular connection depends on dates, tickets and schedules; confirm those details before booking.
The distinctive feature is the planned non-stop link between Pointe-à-Pitre and Panama City within a clearly defined seasonal period. For Caribbean residents and visitors, a direct service may avoid travelling through another airport, but it does not guarantee a convenient same-day connection to every destination. Onward possibilities through Copa Airlines depend on the specific flights and the ticket issued.
Because the start date is in the future and regulatory approval is still relevant, an announced plan must be distinguished from an operating service. Before booking, check when the route is actually available, the operating days, baggage conditions and any transit formalities. Connections should be planned using the official schedules rather than merely the announcement of a new flight.
Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
