Emirates to fly its A350 on the daily Dubai–Mauritius service from 1 November
Emirates will deploy its latest-generation Airbus A350 on its daily Dubai–Mauritius service from 1 November 2026, replacing the Boeing 777 on flights EK709 and EK710, the airline announced in Port Louis on 22 October 2026.
Under the published schedule, EK709 leaves Dubai at 07:55 and arrives in Mauritius at 14:40, while EK710 departs Mauritius at 18:30 and lands in Dubai at 01:10 the following day, all in local time. The A350 has three classes and 298 seats: 32 fully flat Business seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 layout and 238 Economy seats. Emirates says it already operates two other daily services to Mauritius with the A380, both with Premium Economy cabins, and that passengers can connect in Dubai to more than 70 destinations in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The change means the three daily Emirates flights to Mauritius will all offer a Premium Economy cabin, which matters to travellers comparing cabins on the route, including passengers from Europe and Portugal who connect through Dubai. Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates' Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, said the arrival of the A350 "marks another important step in Emirates' continued investment in Mauritius".
Aircraft assignments can change for operational reasons. Passengers booked on EK709 or EK710 from 1 November should check their booking and seat map with Emirates before travelling.
