Emirates adds 14 Dubai–Durban flights for the festive period

Emirates announced 14 additional flights between Dubai and Durban on 20 October 2026 to meet year-end travel demand. The extra services are concentrated in two holiday periods rather than representing a second daily flight throughout the season.

According to the airline, the additional operation will run from 17 to 23 December 2026 and from 2 to 8 January 2027 using a three-class Boeing 777. Existing scheduled flights EK775 and EK776 are set to continue.

Extra flight EK2535 is planned to leave Dubai at 04:00 and arrive in Durban at 10:30. Return flight EK2536 is scheduled to depart Durban at 12:15 and reach Dubai at 22:30, according to the published timetable.

The announcement is aimed at family visits, tourism and onward connections through Dubai. More flights can widen travel choices but do not guarantee seats or suitable connections on every date.

Passengers should check the precise operating days, availability and booking conditions with Emirates. Published schedules are planning information, not proof that a specific service is operating without changes.
