Porto Airport adds 24 routes for winter 2026/27, including 10 new connections

Porto's Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport will offer 24 routes this winter that were not available last winter, ANA Aeroportos de Portugal announced on 27 October 2026. The total combines 10 new connections with 14 routes that until now flew only in summer and will continue through the 2026/27 winter schedule.

The new connections are Ryanair to Catania, Gdansk, Hamburg and Poznan; TAP Air Portugal to Sal; Transavia to Brussels; Volotea to Clermont-Ferrand and Granada; and Wizz Air to Catania and Milan Malpensa. The extended routes include Delta Air Lines to New York JFK, TAP to Boston and Praia, easyJet to São Vicente, Berlin and Glasgow, EL AL to Tel Aviv, Eurowings to Berlin, LOT Polish Airlines to Warsaw, Ryanair to Liverpool, Nuremberg and Rabat, and Volotea to Brive-la-Gaillarde and Asturias.

ANA says the winter offer reduces seasonality at Porto, which it reports now has more than 100 direct destinations. The longer routes kept in winter, such as New York, Boston, Tel Aviv, Praia and São Vicente, matter for travellers in northern Portugal who previously had fewer non-stop options outside the summer months. The operator also notes that terminal work continues on check-in, security, Fast Track and lounge areas after the runway modernisation.

The announcement does not give frequencies or exact start dates for each route. Passengers should confirm the operating days and schedule with the airline before booking.
