Zurich Airport winter timetable: 173 destinations, Bengaluru and more Lapland flights
Zurich Airport's winter timetable 2026/27 takes effect on Sunday 25 October 2026 and runs until 27 March 2027, the airport operator Flughafen Zürich AG announced on 19 October. Over the season, 58 scheduled and charter airlines will connect Zurich with 173 destinations in 71 countries.
The headline long-haul addition is SWISS's first service to Bengaluru, India, operated nonstop five times a week. Cathay Pacific is replacing the Airbus A350-900 with the larger A350-1000 on its Hong Kong route, while Thai Airways will offer 11 weekly flights to Bangkok from January, with two daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Edelweiss is increasing San José, Costa Rica, to two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Lapland is a focus of the season. Finnair returns to Kittilä for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, and Edelweiss is adding capacity to Kittilä and Rovaniemi. Closer to home, easyJet adds direct flights to Marrakech every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the winter.
For Portugal, the timetable includes Chair Airlines flights from Zurich to Porto between 18 December 2026 and 9 January 2027, covering the holiday period.
The airport cautions that the effect of the Middle East conflict on the winter timetable is currently difficult to assess and that route adjustments cannot be ruled out. Passengers should check the latest schedule with their airline before travelling.
