Delta adds daily Boston–Reykjavík flights from April 2027
Delta Air Lines will fly daily between Boston and Reykjavík Keflavík from 12 April to 30 October 2027, the airline announced on 16 October 2026, adding Iceland to its summer 2027 transatlantic schedule from Boston.
The flights will use a Boeing 757-200 with Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins. Delta says Reykjavík becomes its 14th unique long-haul destination from Boston in peak summer and its 16th international destination there. The airline recalls that it first launched nonstop flights to Reykjavík in June 2011 from New York-JFK, becoming the first US carrier with scheduled nonstop service to Iceland.
The Iceland route was added to a summer 2027 announcement first published on 25 September, which also includes new Boston–Venice and Detroit–Athens services and earlier season starts for several European routes. For travellers in New England, the route adds a direct US-airline option to Iceland during the main tourist season, alongside connections to Europe through Delta's partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
The release does not give departure or arrival times, and the dates indicate a seasonal operation rather than a year-round service. Passengers should check the timetable, fares and conditions with Delta when the flights appear in its booking system.
