ITA Airways keeps Riyadh flights suspended until 18 November and Dubai flights until 30 November

ITA Airways has extended the suspension of its flights to Riyadh until 18 November and is not flying to Dubai until and including 30 November, according to the current-information notice the Italian airline publishes for passengers. The airline links the Riyadh decision to recent geopolitical developments and describes the Dubai suspension as being for operational reasons.

The notice says passengers holding tickets on the affected flights can ask to be rebooked on an alternative flight or request a refund of their ticket. ITA Airways directs travellers to its website or to their travel agent for further information about their booking.

For passengers travelling between Italy and the Gulf, the two suspensions mean ITA Airways will not offer its own service to either city for the coming weeks. Travellers who still need to reach Riyadh or Dubai in that period will have to look at the options offered when rebooking or at other airlines' schedules.

The ITA Airways notice does not say whether the suspensions could be extended again or brought forward, and it does not list individual flight numbers. Anyone booked to or from Riyadh or Dubai with ITA Airways should check the status of each flight directly with the airline before travelling, and confirm how any rebooking affects onward connections and separate reservations.

Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
