KLM will not fly to Riyadh and Dammam until 31 October and to Dubai until 24 October
KLM is not operating flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia up to and including 31 October, and has cancelled its Dubai flights up to and including 24 October, according to the Dutch airline's statement on the situation in the Middle East. The latest entry on the KLM newsroom page, a correction dated 10 October, sets out those two dates.
The statement has been updated many times since January, and the airline has moved its suspension dates several times. The 10 October correction replaced an update issued earlier the same day, which had given a later date for Dubai.
The suspension affects passengers travelling between Amsterdam and the two Saudi cities, as well as travellers who use KLM's network to connect through Schiphol to and from Riyadh, Dammam and Dubai. Earlier entries on the same page said passengers could change their booking or ask for a refund through the KLM website or My Trip.
The statement does not say when KLM expects to resume Saudi flights after 31 October, and it does not list individual flight numbers. Passengers with bookings on these routes should check the latest version of the KLM statement and their own reservation before travelling, as dates in this statement have changed several times.
Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
