LOT launches first scheduled direct Warsaw–Bangkok flights, rising to five a week this winter

LOT Polish Airlines has begun its first scheduled direct service to Thailand, with flight LO65 from Warsaw Chopin arriving at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport on 8 October 2026, where it was welcomed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). LOT had previously flown only seasonal charters to Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi.

According to TAT, the route operates three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, between 7 and 25 October, then five times a week from 26 October 2026 to March 2027, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. LO65 leaves Warsaw at 15:45 and reaches Bangkok at 07:05 the next day; the return flight, LO66, leaves Bangkok at 09:05 and lands in Warsaw at 15:20.

TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said the route reflects the agency's aim to turn stronger air access into higher tourism value. TAT says it gives travellers from Poland and neighbouring countries a direct alternative to connecting journeys, while Thai travellers gain access through Warsaw to LOT's network of more than 100 destinations. The agency reports 164,807 Polish arrivals in Thailand between January and September 2026.

The schedule is as published by TAT, which does not state the aircraft type, and timings can change during the season. Passengers should confirm days of operation and times with LOT when booking.
