Singapore Airlines keeps Singapore–Dubai flights SQ494 and SQ495 cancelled until 28 February 2027
Singapore Airlines has extended the cancellation of its Singapore–Dubai service until 28 February 2027, citing the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. In an advisory updated on 30 October 2026, the airline said flights SQ494 from Singapore to Dubai and SQ495 from Dubai to Singapore are cancelled until that date.
The advisory, first posted on 1 March 2026, adds that the situation remains fluid and that other Singapore Airlines flights may be affected. Customers are directed to the airline's Flight Status page for the latest information on their journeys.
According to the airline, affected customers may seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket. Those who booked directly with Singapore Airlines can request it through the airline's Assistance Request Form, while those who booked through a travel agent or a partner airline should contact that agent or airline. Singapore Airlines also asks customers to keep their contact details up to date through Manage Booking and offers a mobile notification service for flight status updates.
The advisory does not describe alternative routings or rebooking options for travellers between Singapore and Dubai, and it does not say which other flights could be affected. Passengers holding bookings for the period should check their reservation and confirm their options with Singapore Airlines or with the agent that issued their ticket.
Check the operator's latest conditions before booking or travelling.
